| Inmate dies at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas |

A prison inmate died in a Las Vegas hospital Monday evening, the Nevada Department of Corrections said in a statement. Just after 5:50 p.m., Richard Wayne Petrarca, 64, died at Valley Hospital Medical Center, the department said. Petrarca was housed in the infirmary at High Desert State Prison, about 30 miles north of Las Vegas, prior to his hospital stay. Read More. |
