| Warden at Lincoln Correctional Center retires |

LINCOLN, Neb.-- The Nebraska Department of Corrections said the warden for the Lincoln Correctional Center, Mario Peart, has announced his retirement. The announcement comes exactly two weeks after two inmates - Armon Dixon, 37, and Timothy Clausen, 52 - escaped from LCC in a laundry truck. Peart's retirement is effective July 1, 2016, after 39 years of service to the NDCS.
