LA BELLE, Pa. (AP) — State police and prison officials are trying to determine whether an inmate who died after being found unresponsive in his southwestern Pennsylvania cell had been assaulted by another inmate. Fifty-one-year-old John Steckley died at a Pittsburgh hospital on Sunday. He was found unresponsive by officers on routine rounds at the State Correctional Institution-Fayette on June 19.
