| Burlington County to accept Salem County juvenile inmate overflow |

PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP — Burlington County has entered into a five-year agreement with Salem County to accept its juvenile detainees. The Burlington County Board of Freeholders authorized the agreement at its meeting last week. As per the agreement, the Juvenile Detention Center off Pemberton-Browns Mill Road will take in court-involved juveniles ordered into custody from Salem County for a fee of $325 a day per inmate for a period starting Friday to June 30, 2021.
