Community Corrections prepares for increase in clients

As the focus throughout the state of Indiana has been to lessen the number of non-violent offenders committed to the Indiana Department of Correction, or even to local jails, local Community Correction officials are preparing for a greater number of clients.

“I see a lot of change coming in Blackford County,” said Deb Perry, director of Blackford County Community Corrections (BCCC).

Perry spoke to The News-Times from her desk in the newly renovated section of the BCCC offices located at 117 N. High St.
