| Green Bay Correctional officer severely burned in inmate attack |

BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – A Green Bay Correctional officer was severely burned by an inmate at the prison Monday morning. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office tells Action 2 News an inmate threw boiling water at the GBCI officer. The staffer was flown to the Milwaukee Burn Center with severe burns. A second inmate standing nearby was also hit by the scalding water and suffered burns to his back. He was treated and is still at the prison. Read More. |
