RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) - They may be locked up for a crime, but Pennington County Jail inmates are serving their time on the job. DUI, simple assault and aggravated eluding are the charges that landed Jarrett Wettstein in the Pennington County Jail. Luckily for him, he's earning good time by working in the kitchen to shorten his sentence. "It's helping me get back to my family a lot sooner and by doing so I'm putting in a little work so it's a fair trade," Wettstein said.
