| Inmate escapes from Elmore County Correctional Facility |

ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — An inmate escaped from the Elmore County Correctional Facility early Friday morning officials said. The Alabama Department of Corrections said Justin Caldwell escaped just before 2:00 a.m. from the facility, located approximately 25 miles north of Montgomery. Authorities have not said how Caldwell managed to escape. The 27-year-old is 5'7" 143 lbs. and believed to be wearing his inmate-issued white shirt and pants. Read More. |
