| Jail passes IDOC's annual inspection |

WATSEKA — The Illinois Department of Corrections conducted its annual inspection of the Iroquois County Jail on July 18, and zero non-compliances with the Illinois County Jail Standards were found. An inspection report completed by the IDOC noted five improvements to the jail that had been made since the last inspection one year earlier: — The upper east and west cell blocks were upgraded with new plumbing. — Shaded window film was installed on the second-floor windows. — A new lockable medicine cabinet was installed to hold all detainee medicine.
