Officials with the Douglas County Department of Corrections say an female inmate died at the corrections building in Downtown Omaha. Officials say at around 04:16 p.m., Wednesday, a female inmate became unresponsive with staff inside a housing unit. Staff announced a medical emergency and initiated CPR.
