Man indicted on charges he shot at law enforcement, injured DOC officer in Auburn

A grand jury Thursday indicted a man on charges that he shot at law enforcement in Auburn this summer, injuring a state Department of Corrections officer.

Randy Lee Hall, 31, is charged with assault of a person assisting federal officers, assault of federal officers, using a firearm during a crime of violence, and unlawful gun and ammunition possession.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office:

Investigators had linked Hall to multiple guns and incidents in which shots were fired.
