CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Two inmates escaped from the Glenwood Jail on Friday. One has since captured and one is still at large. On Aug. 19 around 3:45 p.m., Daniel Perkins, 24, and Jason Shockley, 26, both of Akron, pretended to be trustees and helped carry trays out to a van in the parking lot of the jail. When they got to the van, they dropped the trays and ran. The Summit County Sheriff's Office dispatched deputies from the jail to try and find the inmates. They were able to successfully find and arrest Perkins, but Shockley is still on the run. Read More. |
