Jail guard accused of stealing boat

A Pennington County correctional officer is accused of stealing a boat.

The Rapid City Journal reports that 23-year-old Mathew Leszcynski allegedly stole a boat valued at $100,000 Aug. 22 at Pactola Reservoir. He faces a grand theft charge that carries a maximum punishment of 15 years in prison.
