| Delaware DOC closes Webb Community Corrections Center |

State officials announced they closed a Prices Corner work-release center in order to increase efficiency and delivery of services to probationers in partial confinement. A task force report issued in December noted several necessary upgrades and costly adaptations needed to occur in order to continue operation at Webb Community Corrections Center, located at 200 Greenbank Road, said Jayme Gravell, a spokeswoman with the Department of Correction. The center was operating under capacity, with less than fifty percent occupancy, and was not in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Read More. |
