White River Junction — A former nurse at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield, Vt., has pleaded guilty to having sexual relations with an inmate who told investigators he had “romantic feelings” for the woman. Rebecca Parker, of Springfield, was arraigned on Tuesday in Windsor Superior Court and entered guilty pleas to a felony count of sexual exploitation of an inmate and misdemeanor reckless endangerment. Parker, 40, received a deferred five-year sentence on the felony charge and a suspended three- to 12-month sentence on the misdemeanor charge. Read More. |
