| Corrections, fire officials conduct medical drill at prison |

TRENTON — The Trenton Fire Department ladder tower that was raised to a guard tower at New Jersey State Prison Wednesday was only a medical drill. Trenton fire officials and state Department of Corrections officers sealed of part of Second Street alongside the prison in South Trenton at about 10 a.m. Wednesday for the drill. The purpose was to practice the fire department's response to a corrections officer having a medical emergency in a tower, city Battalion Chief Gus Tackas said.
