Three inmates were accused in the attacks on a Pinal County jail lieutenant and sergeant inside an adult detention facility Wednesday. Inmates Robert Villalobos, 29; and Santiago Sanchez, 26; are accused of attacking and stabbing the lieutenant at about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday with improvised metal weapons, according to a statement from Mark Clark, a Pinal County Sheriff's Office spokesman. Mauricio Moraga, 25, was accused of blocking and attacking the sergeant as he went to help the lieutenant, the statement said. The names of the detention officers were not released. Read More. |
