| Inmate escapes from Albay police station jail |

LEGAZPI CITY – An inmate escaped from the detention facility of Camalig police station in Albay, police said Friday. Senior Inspector Maria Luisa Calubaquib, information officer of Bicol police, said in a report that Nolen Moral, 37, of Barangay Inarado of Daraga town asked permission from Senior PO2 Cynthia Sallan, duty desk officer/jailer, to dispose urine he collected in a plastic container because the comfort room inside the detention cell was out of order at around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The police officer allowed the inmate and accompanied him to the toilet located at the back portion of the police station.
