| Inmate who weighed more than 450 pounds died of natural causes, jail officials say |

A 43-year-old inmate who weighed more than 450 pounds was pronounced dead of natural causes Wednesday evening at the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections, officials said. The man had collapsed about 6 p.m. Wednesday, and a medical team immediately started CPR, said Yolanda Evans, a spokeswoman for the department. Authorities in the jail also called 911, but the man — who was found unresponsive and with no pulse — could not be resuscitated, according to a statement from corrections officials. Read More. |
