| St. Mary Parish SO advises escaped inmate could be in Charenton area |

FRANKLIN — The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office searching for an escaped inmate Drake Domangue of Houma, who was last seen in the Charenton area, according to law enforcement reports Thursday afternoon. Morgan City Police Department Public Information Officer Captain Betty Augman said Domangue, 44, escaped from the Assumption Parish jail officials Wednesday morning while being escorted to a mental health facility. Augman said Domangue pushed one of the deputies and was able to escape. Augman said Domangue also freed himself from his restraints and should be considered dangerous. Read More. |
