The mother of an inmate at the Oneida County Jail is facing charges herself, accused of passing her son a controlled substance during a visit. Christine Schremmer of Westmoreland allegedly gave her son a Buprenorphine pill, which is a schedule 3 controlled substance. Schremmer now faces a felony charge of promoting prison contraband.
