| Escaped jail inmate captured near Crocker Missouri |

PULASKI COUNTY (KOMU) — Pulaski County Sheriff Ron Long said one of the two fleeing inmates that escaped from the county jail Sunday morning was arrested near Crocker Monday evening. Long said James Randall (J.R.) Sherrell was arrested in a home five miles west of Crocker on U Highway before 7 p.m. He says Sherrell was arrested without incident. Sheriff’s officials are still searching for the second escapee, Dustin Richardson, and his accomplice, Marlee Davy. Authorities announced Monday they were searching for Davy after they say she drove the get-away car for the two escaped inmates in southern Missouri. They also released the name of a jailer who has been charged in connection with the breakout. According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, Davy of Lebanon led authorities on a high-speed chase through Pulaski and Miller Counties on Sunday, allegedly transporting two inmates who had escaped from the Pulaski County Jail that morning.
