(KUTV) A documents dealer convicted in the 1985 bombings of multiple people in Salt Lake City is no longer in a maximum security facility. The Utah Department of Corrections confirmed Monday that Mark Hofmann was transferred to the Central Utah Correctional Facility in Gunnison. Hofmann had been staying in the maximum security section at the Utah State Prison in Draper until December 2015 when he was moved. Corrections spokesman Steve Gehrke told 2News Hofmann had not posed any management problems and was not deemed to be a danger to staff or other inmates, so the decision was made to move him to make room for other inmates who need to be in maximum security.
