LCSO deputies, K9 apprehend Littleton fugitive

A man wanted by the Colorado Department of Corrections fled from sheriff deputies Monday before his arrest.

A Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputy pulled the man over in a traffic stop about 3 a.m. at South College Avenue and East Skyway Drive, according to a release by the department. Court records indicate the Littleton man, Ashton Layne Hamilton, 24, ran a red light.

Hamilton then fled on foot. He was wanted for an outstanding felony parole revocation warrant from the Colorado Department of Corrections.
