| Burlington County Jail inmates to maintain grounds at state veterans cemetery |

Burlington County and the state's veterans memorial cemetery have struck a deal to provide an inmate landscaping crew from the county jail. The county Board of Freeholders approved an agreement last week to provide a 10-man inmate crew to provide maintenance, cleaning and landscaping to the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery on Province Line Road in North Hanover for $104,539. The Burlington County Jail, on Grant Street in Mount Holly, has provided the inmates for 16 years. Read More. |
