MONROE, Wash. - Authorities are investigating the death of a 30-year-old inmate who was in confinement at a prison north of Seattle. The state Department of Corrections said in a news release that Michael D. Bryant was found unresponsive Friday morning at the Monroe Correctional Complex in the special offenders unit. Officials say he was unconscious and not breathing and that prison staff called 911 and started lifesaving measures. Local paramedics pronounced Bryant dead after they arrived. Read More. |
