CANON CITY — A new store named The Cellhouse is embracing Canon City’s prison history and culture. The store sells a wide variety of products made or refurbished by inmates as part of the Colorado Correctional Industries inmate work program. Shoppers also will want to bring a camera for photo shoots inside the mock jail cell, which features a cell door that once was part of the Buckskin Joe jail. Read More. |
