Surveillance video was released this week of Harris County Sheriff’s deputies saving a man who was attempting suicide. In the video, the inmate walks to a railing, tests how strong it is and then pulls a bed sheet from his pants. He then ties one end to the railing and loops the other around his neck before climbing over the edge. At that moment, several deputies rush over to the man and pull him back over the railing.
