A minimum-security state prison inmate from Rapid City did not return from a work release appointment, authorities say. Sam Quiver, 43, was authorized to leave the community work center Thursday, but did not return to his unit. He has been placed on escape status, according to the Department of Corrections. Quiver is described as a Native American male, 5-feet-7-inches tall, weighing about 240 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Read More. |
