| Jail fight kills inmate |

A fight at the Grenada Correctional Service Corporation in Mississippi last week left an inmate dead. According to Grenada County Sheriff Alton Strider, a man identified as Kenneth Kendall, 22, of Grenada was killed last night in his jail cell. Strider said that Kendall was in an altercation with other inmates, which led to his death. "The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, the District Attorney's office and the Grenada Police Department are assisting in the investigation," said Strider. |
