| Inmate road program discussed by magistrates |

During magistrates comments at the Madison County Fiscal Court meeting Tuesday morning, Magistrate Larry Combs revisited the possibility of restarting a work program allowing jail inmates to work picking up trash and weed cutting on local roads, along with other tasks. Combs noted the county has a vehicle to utilize for the program and inmates would be “tickled to death” to be out working.
