CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) – A 52-year-old man serving time for kidnapping and rape has been indicted in Chattanooga on first-degree murder charges in the deaths of two brothers nearly 20 years ago. District Attorney General Neal Pinkston’s office said Christopher Jeffre Johnson was indicted by a Hamilton County grand jury on Monday. The charges are in the deaths of 25-year-old Sean Goetcheus and 19-year-old Donny Goetcheus. The brothers were found Jan. 9, 1997, inside the house where they lived, each shot multiple times. The prosecutor’s office said in a news release Johnson is serving 50 years for the kidnapping and rapes of two girls. Read More. |
