| Jacksonville police looking for escaped inmate |

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for escaped inmate Gary M. Thigpen. Police say he was working as a trustee at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds located at 510 Fairgrounds Place when he walked off. Thigpen was reported missing to dispatch at 4:22 p.m. An extensive search was conducted including last known contacts and addresses. The suspect was not located.
