The Nevada Department of Corrections reports that on Oct. 27 around 5:00 p.m., Inmate Charlie D. Staggs, #68447, died at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in the Regional Medical Facility in Carson City, Nevada. 63-year-old Staggs was committed from Churchill County on March 19, 2001, and was serving 240 to 600 months for Sexual Assault.
