An inmate at the Davidson County Detention Center has been charges with malicious conduct by a prisoner after spitting on detention officers. Dieon Pierce Hopkins, 20, of 334 Charity Lanes, Linwood, was charged with felony malicious conduct by a prisoner and misdemeanor injury to personal property.
