| Inmate dies at Dakota County jail, authorities say it was suicide |

A 37-year-old man arrested last week on charges of domestic assault reportedly took his own life while in custody, the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office said. The inmate, of Eagan, was found in his Dakota County jail cell by a correctional deputy during rounds just before midnight on Friday, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
