DANNEMORA — Clinton Correctional Facility remained on lockdown Tuesday as an investigation into an inmate altercation in the recreation yard continued. The incident, which occurred Friday evening, was brought safely under control and prompted a search of the prison, the State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision has said. Inmates sustained minor injuries, but no staff members were hurt. DOCCS would not say Tuesday how many inmates were involved in the incident or reveal their names, citing the ongoing investigation.
