| Officials: 57-year-old hospitalized Nevada inmate dies |

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - Nevada prison officials say an inmate who had been admitted to a Carson City hospital has died. Nevada Department of Corrections spokeswoman Brooke Keast said Wednesday that 57-year-old Wilfredo Jimenez died early Tuesday morning at the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. Keast declined to offer details about what authorities suspect caused Jimenez's death, citing medical privacy laws, but says it's related to medical issues that led officials to admit him to the hospital.
