PALOS HILLS, IL -- A Waukegan man is wanted on an arrest warrant for swiping a Cook County Corrections employee’s purse from an office at Moraine Valley Community College, Palos Hills police said in court. Andre Bellfield, 42, is currently out on parole for a 2011 burglary conviction, according to Illinois Department of Corrections records. Cook County Judge Peter Felice issued a warrant for theft. According to police, the victim, who was working for the Cook County Corrections Academy at Moraine Valley, reported her purse stolen on Oct. 31. Among the items stolen was her badge.
