| Jury finds inmate guilty of assault |

YORK – A York County jury has found a Nebraska Center for Women inmate guilty of assault by a confined person. The jury pool convened Tuesday morning. After the jury was selected, testimony and evidence were provided by both sides. The jury started deliberations mid-afternoon and already had their verdict by 3:15 p.m., finding that Turner had attacked another inmate. Xzajanee Turner, 21, has now been convicted of a Class 3A felony, which carries a possible maximum sentence of three additional years in prison with post release supervision. Read More. |
