| Alabama corrections staff launch investigation after cell phone footage emerges of inmates taking part in the viral craze |

Investigators with the Alabama Department of Corrections are looking into a video that has gone viral from inside one of their facilities, showing a large group of inmates taking part in the Mannequin Challenge. The video was first posted to Facebook on November 13 and has received over 200,000 views. It shows at least 30 prisoners - in white Alabama Department of Corrections uniforms - in various frozen-in-time poses. Some of the men are seen fighting, others are working out, while a large group are joined together in a prayer. The video appears to have been taken in a dormitory. Read More. |
