| Correctional officers recognized for outstanding service |

SEVENTY-FIVE correctional officers have been recognised by the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) for their yeoman and sterling contribution to the organisation. The recipients were honoured during the department’s national honours and awards ceremony held at the Jamaica Conference Centre, downtown Kingston, on Tuesday. State minister in the Ministry of National Security, Senator Pearnel Charles, Jr in his address lauded the recipients for their distinguished service to the DCS and urged them to continue. “Your service is making a difference, it has made a difference.
