A state inmate who reportedly escaped from the Bibb County Correctional Facility in Brent early Monday was found hiding inside the prison, according to a news release from the Alabama Department of Corrections. Prison officials issued an escape report at 1:30 a.m. when Timothy Wayne Johnson, 32, was missing from a housing unit during a mandatory inmate count.
