| Inmate dies in Anchorage after apparent suicide attempt |

ANCHORAGE — A 37-year-old inmate has died following an apparent suicide attempt. The Alaska Department of Corrections says in a release that Kristoffer Reuer died Monday afternoon at Alaska Regional Center in Anchorage. He was found unresponsive in his cell in Anchorage on Friday. Department of Corrections spokesman Corey Allen-Young says Reuer was an inmate at Anchorage Correctional Complex. Read More. |
