Detectives are looking into whether ex-prisoners had any direct ties to a state correction officer who was shot, along with his wife, in his Queens home, sources said Monday.

State Corrections Department officer Henry Wright, 58, is fighting to survive after he and his wife, Sharon Floyd-Wright, 52 were shot Sunday in the hallway of their Jamaica home, police sources said.

The attack began when a man knocked on the door and said, “It’s Rob,” sources said. The sources identified “Rob” as a fellow correction officer, whose full name is being withheld by the Daily News.

Two armed men in dark hoodies and wearing jeans pushed into the Mathias Ave. home of Wright and his wife, Floyd-Wright, 52, near 166th St. in Jamaica at about 7 p.m. Sunday, police sources said.
