| IDOC investigates death of inmate at Idaho Maximum Security Institution |

The Idaho Department of Corrections is investigating the death of an Idaho Maximum Security Institution inmate who died Friday night of apparent natural causes. According to the Department of Corrections, a correctional officer found 56-year-old Aurelio Moya Barajas on the floor of his sell. Staff say he was responsive when they entered his cell, but stopped breathing shortly thereafter and had no detectable pulse.
