| Escapees have north Mississippi ties, search is on for two remaining |

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) – Three men were part of a break-out in Greenwood, and two were convicted in north Mississippi. According to the Mississippi Department of Corrections, probationers Michael Smith and Corey Scruggs, along with parolee Kenneth Arrington left the Greenwood Restitution Center near 2 a.m. on Monday. Smith is serving a seven-year sentence out of Prentiss County for accessory after the fact with five years of post-release supervision. Read More. |
