A MAN serving a 90-year sentence has asked a judge to set him free, citing cruel and unusual punishment. He might have a point. Rene Lima-Marin, 38, was convicted in 2000 by a Colorado court for kidnapping, burglary and multiple counts of robbery. He and another man robbed two Denver video stores at gunpoint.
