Wyoming Inmate Hack Dies at Wyoming State Penitentiary

Rawlins – William Harry Hack, a Wyoming inmate, died from a terminal illness on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins.

Hack was sentenced on April 13, 1984 by Sweetwater County District Court Judge Kenneth G. Hamm. He was given a life sentence for First Degree Murder and a concurrent sentence of 24 to 25 years for Aggravated Robbery.

Hack was born on December 10, 1949 in Newcastle, Wyoming.

As per departmental policy an autopsy has been ordered.
