| Inmate accused of smuggling drugs into jail |

A man who was arrested last month on drug charges allegedly smuggled methamphetamine into jail in Williston and kept it hidden in a deodorant container, authorities say. Fernando Garnica, 21, of Williston, is accused of bringing the substance into the Williams County Correctional Center by hiding it in his rectum, according to court records. A search of his cell turned up a plastic bag containing methamphetamine tucked into a deodorant container hidden under his mattress. Garnica was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility, a Class B felony. Read More. |
